ભગવાનની રોજનીશી
Hello dear readers,
Today I have come with another book summary titled “ભગવાનની રોજનીશી” (Bhagwan’s Diary). The book is written by Father Valles. It is written from God’s point of view, which makes the book very interesting and unique. The book begins with the question:“Why do people become atheists, and why do I allow them to be atheists?”This is the central question, and the entire book develops around it.
1. Fear of God
God says that people should not be afraid of Him. He is not like a police officer who punishes everyone. The real meaning of dharma is to give people freedom and fearlessness.
The writer gives an example of a woman whose child failed an exam. She became disappointed with God but still continued worshipping because she thought that if she stopped praying, God would become angry. But true prayer should come from the heart, not from fear.
2. When People’s Wishes Are Not Fulfilled
Many people say, “I worship God, but He never listens to me.”People think that whenever they ask for something from God, they should receive it. But human desires are endless and sometimes unreasonable. When their wishes are not fulfilled, they start losing faith in God.
3. Tiny Problems
People often pray for small and personal problems—a boy wants a ball, students pray for good marks, or people pray for small achievements. The writer says: “God does not give you things; He gives you the power to achieve them.”We must work hard to reach our goals. As someone once said:“If you ask God to win a marathon, He gives you a pair of shoes, not a medal.”
4. Why Do Wrong Things Happen?
Many people rise the question: “If God exists, why do bad things happen?” The writer explains that if God punished every wrong action immediately—like cutting a thief’s hand—people would behave well only out of fear, not out of true morality. Real religion gives people freedom, but punishment comes at the right time.
5. Lottery Tickets
Some people buy lottery tickets and place them in temples hoping to win. But if everyone does the same thing, who will win?
The message is clear: Do not depend on luck. Work hard instead. Sometimes you may achieve even more than you expected.
6. “As God Wishes”
People often say “As God wishes” when situations go out of their control. First, they do whatever they want, and when the result is not as expected, they blame God.
7. If You Become a Good Person
If you are a good person, God will definitely love you. But even if you are not perfect, God still loves you. God is not partial.
8. God Gives Justice
When something bad happens to a bad person, people say “God has given justice.”
But true justice is something only God fully understands and decides.
9. Golden Rules
The book mentions some important moral rules:
-Do not harm anyone.
-Do your work honestly.
-Show mercy to your employees or workers.
-Do not steal anything.
10. “I Didn’t Go There”
God says that building temples is good only if the money is honest. Some people earn money illegally and donate it to temples to feel satisfied. But black money remains black money, and God says He never goes there.
11. Mother Becomes Stone
God says that He likes worship, but not if it makes people insensitive to their family. Sometimes parents become angry with their children when they interrupt them during prayer. The writer criticizes this behavior.
12. God’s Oath
When people cannot prove something, they often say “I swear to God.” But in reality, only the person knows the truth. It is like a court case where both parties know the truth but still defend themselves.
13. Using God’s Name in the Wrong Place
God says people should not misuse His name for personal benefit. As someone said:
“Your behavior should be the same inside and outside the temple. If it is not, then there is no point in going to the temple.”
The book presents a unique and thoughtful perspective on the relationship between humans and God. Through simple examples and everyday situations, the writer explains that God does not control every small event in our lives. Instead, He gives us freedom, strength, and the ability to make our own choices.
The book teaches that true religion is not based on fear, blind faith, or selfish prayers, but on honesty, kindness, and responsibility. It encourages people to work hard, act morally, and not misuse God’s name for personal benefit.
Overall, the message of the book is that God expects us to be good human beings rather than simply performing rituals. When we live with truth, compassion, and sincerity, we are already following the real path of religion.
