CHARACTERS
The main characters in this story are:
Dr. Shahista – a psychiatrist, intelligent and observant
Abhishek – a Brahmin with traditional wisdom
Shrinivasan – the boss, a leader figure
LSD – the one who knows deep mythology and technology
Mr. Batra – a Sikh, disciplined and loyal
The Beginning
The story opens with a group of seven to eight people gathered on Rose Island in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Among them are Dr. Shahista, Abhishek, Shrinivasan, LSD, and Mr. Batra. They are discussing a mysterious man who looks like an Aghori. This is Om. They believe he knows something extraordinary — something worth risking everything for.
To uncover the truth, they use a powerful narcotic on Om, ensuring he cannot lie. Under its influence, he says, "I am immortal. I have lived under different names — Shushen, Vidur, Banda Bahadur, Vishnu Gupt. My age stopped after 40. I am searching for Subhash Chandra Bose. Ashwatthama is Bose." The drug, which usually lasts five hours, wears off in just one — a sign that Om’s body works beyond ordinary human limits.
Om’s claimed past lives link to history:
Shushen – healer from the Ramayana who treated Lakshman in Lanka
Vidur – wise advisor in the Mahabharata, brother of Pandu and Dhritarashtra
Vishnu Gupt – also known as Chanakya, Acharya of Chandragupta Maurya
Banda Bahadur – a Sikh warrior and saint
The team decides to explore Om’s mind using advanced technology. As Shahista questions him, his memories appear as vivid visuals that everyone can see. They witness scenes from ancient times — mountains, medicinal plants, great battles — confirming Om’s words.
Om speaks about the four Yugas and their battles:
1. Satya Yuga – Devas vs. Asuras (different realms)
2. Treta Yuga – Ram vs. Ravan (different kingdoms)
3. Dvapara Yuga – Pandavas vs. Kauravas (same family)
4. Kali Yuga – the fight within our own minds between good and evil
Om astonishes the team by predicting rain on a cloudless day — and it comes true within hours. He also calls Shahista by her childhood nickname “Chinna,” which no one in the group knew, and recalls events from her early life in perfect detail.
Karal (a medicinal tool)
Ancient coins
A map
Scriptures in Hindi, Pali, and Sanskrit
One section of the box is missing, so Virbhadra follows the map to Sri Lanka. His journey is dangerous — he faces traps, injuries, and betrayal — but he manages to escape with the missing piece of the box.
Shahista questions Om again about his true existence. Om reveals that three great Rishis once meditated in the Himalayas:
1. Dhanvantari / Kasiraj – God of medicine
2. Shushrut – pioneer of surgery
3. Nagendra – once a trusted disciple, later a traitor
Om lives because of Mrit Sanjivni Vidya, the knowledge to conquer death, given to him by Dhanvantari. After completing their great medical manuscript, Dhanvantari instructed his disciples to spread the knowledge to the world. But Nagendra betrayed them, killing Dhanvantari and Shushrut. Shushrut’s final words were, "Protect the book beyond yourself." Om fled like a frightened child, and when he returned years later, the place was filled with only skeletons.
Rejected by families because he never aged, Om wandered forests for centuries, always guarding the book. Eventually, he sought human connections again, believing the book would be safer if hidden among people.
The Ending
The conclusion of this first part is tense and layered. The true identities of the characters are revealed, splitting them into two opposing groups. Then, two more immortal men arrive — Ashwatthama and Parshuram. Nagendra’s side currently holds the precious book. Parshuram calmly says, "We do not need to find them; they will find us." This sets the stage for a powerful and suspense-filled continuation in the next book.
