India won the match by 336 runs

England won the toss and decided to bowl first.

INDIA'S FIRST INNING 587-10
Our openers, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal, are undoubtedly the best opening pair—there’s no debate. Their partnership is usually unbelievable, but this time, it didn’t continue. Rahul got out early, scoring just 2 runs. Then came Karun Nair, who also failed to make a big impact.

The pressure shifted to the No. 4 spot—a legendary position once held by the "God of Cricket" Sachin Tendulkar and the "King" Virat Kohli. Now, it's Shubman Gill, known as the "Prince," who owns this slot. Expectations were high, and Gill lived up to them, scoring a magnificent 267 runs. Most importantly, he valued his wicket and played with maturity.

Rishabh Pant didn’t score much, but then came Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar, who narrowly missed a century and half-century, respectively. Still, their contributions were significant. Even our bowlers played defensively with the bat.
India all out for 587.

ENGLAND'S FIRST INNING 407-10

Bowling Begins – Without Bumrah.India’s batters had done their job. Now it was time for the bowlers—without Jasprit Bumrah.
Avesh Khan was replaced by Akash Deep, and he bowled like Bumrah himself! Akash took two quick wickets, and Mohammed Siraj joined the attack with crucial breakthroughs.

The biggest problem on Day 3 was the Root–Brook partnership, but India got Root early. However, Brook and J. Smith built an unbreakable 342-run partnership. After Brook's wicket, England collapsed, adding just 22 more runs.

England all out for 407.
Siraj: 6 wickets | Akash Deep: 4 wickets

SECOND INNING OF INDIA 427-6 , LEAD 607

Jaiswal and Rahul came out to build a big lead. Jaiswal was aggressive while Rahul played defensively.Karun Nair once again disappointed with just 26 runs. Then came Captain Shubman Gill, proving again why he’s the future of Indian cricket with a solid 161.

Rishabh Pant scored 65 at a strike rate of 115, answering critics of his attacking style.
Jadeja contributed a valuable 69.

SECOND INNING OF ENGLAND 271-10

England had a mountain to climb—607 runs. Once again, Akash and Siraj struck early.
Akash took 6 wickets, while Sundar, Siraj, Jadeja, and Krishna shared the rest.
