Barmuda triangle

The book is the fourth part of Dr. I. K. Vijlivala's adventure collection. summary of 1to 3 books

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a mysterious region in the western North Atlantic Ocean, roughly outlined by Miami (Florida), Bermuda, and San Juan (Puerto Rico). It is famous for reports of ships and aircraft disappearing under unexplained circumstances while traveling through this area. Over the years, stories like the disappearance of Flight 19 in 1945 have added to the legend. Various theories have been proposed to explain these incidents, including sudden weather changes, human error, magnetic anomalies, and even supernatural causes like alien abductions. However, many experts argue that the number of incidents in the Bermuda Triangle is not unusually high compared to other heavily traveled regions of the ocean, and most cases can be explained through natural or logical means—making the mystery more myth than reality.
The story begins with Deek and Poll feeling bored and eager for an adventure. Suddenly, Alberto arrives and invites them to America. One by one, Maikale Kaka, Hesling, and Abira join them, and the journey begins.

They stay at Hotel Tekiska at Miami Port, where Eatze is waiting for them. Poll takes a photo of a strange-looking man who turns out to be Captain Joshua Slocum, who once sailed around the world in his ship, Spe. The ship uses no digital technology and runs solely on wind. Surprisingly, despite being a captain, Joshua can't swim. He has many fascinating stories, which he shares with the group, enriching their knowledge.

Suddenly, Alberto bursts into the room, breathing heavily. He announces that he has found a map of Pira Reach, where a powerful self-luminous coral exists. The heroes are unfamiliar with this, but the captain decides they must go there.

They prepare to search for the coral. They have the Spe and a small boat. Alberto and Matadi steer the boat while the others enjoy their time with the captain. But their enjoyment doesn't last long—they find themselves trapped by algae plants growing in the sea. Since there is no wind, the Spe is tied to the boat using an iron chain so it can be towed. Progress is slow, and suddenly the boat gets stuck again. Deek investigates and finds that algae plants are the issue. He dives into the water and uses special oil given by Hesling’s uncle, which repels sea creatures. While cutting the plants, he injures his finger, attracting a bull shark, but the oil protects him. He manages to cut through the algae and free the boat.

They continue their journey. As they venture deeper into the sea, the environment changes. Hesling spots a cumulonimbus cloud, although the captain and radio claim there’s no chance of such clouds. The clouds descend close to the water, and the group sails into them. Confusion sets in—they can’t see or communicate with each other. Spe loses contact with the boat, and Abira and Matadi are lost during the chaos. Eventually, the Spe reaches land. Upon investigation, they realize they are in South Bimini, but shockingly, the date is November 14, 1717.

Now stuck in the 1717s, the heroes find people looking at them strangely. Their modern money is useless, but they have gold, which they exchange for local currency and rest at a hotel.

Determined to find answers, Deek, Maikale Kaka, Eatze, and Alberto dive into the sea again, using special oil and powder that allows them to see clearly underwater. They discover a powerful coral and, at the center, a machine capable of generating never-ending energy. There are signs of Egyptian origin.

They rest, but the peace is short-lived. The infamous pirate Blackbeard and his crew capture them. Only Eatze and the captain escape. Blackbeard, more interested in attacking a nearby British ship, appoints four foolish pirates to guard the heroes. The heroes outsmart them and escape.

They return to the underwater site. The machine is heavy, so everyone except the captain enters the water. Deek gets trapped in a pyramid. With limited oxygen, the others resurface. Maikale Kaka dives again and is shocked to find Deek safe and the machine in its correct place. Deek recalls only one thing: "A giant couple rescued me and fixed the machine." They were none other than  king Akhenaten and Queen Nefertiti.

The group prepares to leave the port but is once again confronted by Blackbeard. This time, they are unafraid—they have a launcher. When the pirates attack, Maikale Kaka uses the launcher and destroys their ship. Later, the pirates express guilt, and the heroes forgive them.

Just when things seem settled, a storm strikes. The Spe is damaged and thrown off balance. But the good news is that the heroes return to their original time. They also reunite with Matadi and Abira, who can hardly believe their experience.

As they return to their normal lives, Deek finds a leaf in his pocket—left by the King and Queen. He now has three magical leaves.

All four books are incredibly interesting and full of suspense.
